What is SEND?
SEND is a Nordic partnership for continuing education of judges. The SEND partnership was formed in 1989 when a Nordic meeting was held in Finland. The first chairman of SEND was Mr. Lars Åhlén, at that time Director General of the National Courts Administration, Domstolsverket (DV). The secretariat is therefore stationed in the Swedish National Courts Administration.
