Some of the seats will primarily be reserved for media representatives, who have registered in advance and been notified that they have been allocated a seat. Press credentials are required.

Advance registration for media representatives must be made no later than 29 May 2025 via email to stockholms.tingsratt.avdelning4@dom.se. Notification will then be given as to whether a seat can be provided.

Security check

A security check is always conducted at the entrance to enhance safety and security within the court’s premises. During the check, all visitors must pass through a metal detector. Bags and other belongings are screened using an X-ray machine. The fewer items brought, the faster the process will be. When many visitors arrive at the same time, queues may form at the security check. It is therefore important to arrive well in advance. Journalists are not exempt from the security check.

Image and audio recording

It is not permitted to photograph or video record inside of or into the courtroom during the hearing. Cameras and mobile phones brought into the courtroom must be turned off and stowed away. The District Court will decide that members of the audience engaged in news reporting may use the electronic devices necessary for such reporting (e.g., mobile phones, tablets, and laptops). This also includes other audio recording equipment. However, such devices may not be used for video recording or taking pictures.
