Important Information Regarding Bankruptcy Cases

As of 1 July 2026, the Eksjö District Court will no longer have jurisdiction to handle new bankruptcy cases.

New bankruptcy rules will enter into force on 1 July 2026. Under these rules, the administration of bankruptcy cases will be concentrated to a smaller number of district courts.
For bankruptcy cases in which the Eksjö District Court has jurisdiction up to and including 30 June 2026, the Jönköping District Court will instead have jurisdiction as of 1 July 2026.
